Seatours offers a variety of private tours for individuals and small groups (1-12 pax). Below is a list of suggested itineraries. All our private tours are tailor made and therefore you are welcome to "mix and match" and make your own itinerary!

Oceans Secrets

This private tour starts with a traditional sightseeing tour, exploring islands, strong tidal currents, thousands of birds, bird cliffs and islands. Then its time for some sea angling action!
The highlight of the tour is a visit to a remote island with a natural geothermal pool which only is accessible on low tide. There the guests relax and enjoy the remoteness of the area.
Next stop is Flatey Island where the time has stood still for decades. After a stroll around the island a dinner will be waiting for the in the cosy restaurant and on the menu is the fish they caught earlier in the day.

Wonders of Breiðafjörður Bay

We sail around the numerous islands in Breiðafjörður Bay, explore strangely shaped cliffs and navigate powerful tidal currents, watch birds such as puffins, eider ducks, kittiwakes, cormorants, black guillemots and, if we are lucky, the majestic white-tailed eagle.

Ad some fun sea angling, where the catch is then barbequed and served as a delicious meal onboard

This trip starts by the a short cruise of the southern part of Breiðafjörður Bay, where we sail around the numerous islands, explore strangely shaped cliffs and navigate powerful tidal currents, watch birds such as puffins, eider ducks, kittiwakes, cormorants, black guillemots and, if we are lucky, the majestic white-tailed eagle.
The sightseeing continues and bird life and nature of the area is explored and then we head of to Flatey Island. A guided walk of this historic island, where once lived 400 inhabitants (now only 5). The island is a ‘must see’ place for all nature and bird lovers.
After the refreshing walk a gourmet dinner awaits in the island’s Restaurant.

Before midnight the group walks to the highest point of the island (which as the name indicates (‘Flat-Island’) is not very high and enjoys the unique midnight sun! An inspirational experience for everyone!

Then it’s time to head back to Stykkishólmur (or stay at Hotel Flatey for the night)
