As Eimskip's our operation follows the Eimskip's Human Resource Policy.

Code of conduct

As Eimskip's subsidiary, our operation follows the Eimskip's Code of Conduct, emphasizing honesty, responsibility and work ethics.

Binding contract

This document contains the terms and conditions of using our Booking Engine. They apply to buyers (client) and Seatours ldt. Confirming an order on the Booking Engine is also regarded as an acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you have any questions about them, please e-mail us at seatours@seatours.is

Both parties, the buyer (client) and Seatours ldt., undergo a legally binding contract of purchase and supply of available and selected services on offer, and the conditions of the respective credit/debit card companies of the two parties.

If a case arises out of this agreement, it shall be brought to the District Court of Reykjavik.

Changing bookings

Changing of bookings to a different time/date is allowed up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time at no extra cost.

Changing of bookings less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date incur 3.000 ISK.- changing fee.

Cancellation terms

Cancellation more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date incurs 5% changing fee. Refund only 95% of the ISK amount, which was paid. Cancellation less than 6-24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time incurs 50% refund. Cancellation less than 5 hours before departure incurs no refund.

Privacy statement

The information entered by the buyer (client) and referred to in the Privacy Statement, can only be used by the supplier and Booking Engine Operator if it becomes necessary to contact the buyer (client).

Booking procedures

Immediately after the buyer (client) has successfully confirmed the purchase, he/she should print a voucher with the details of the booking and ensure the correctness of the information. In case of entry mistakes made by the buyer (client), he/she should contact Seatours directly; seatours@seatours.is. The voucher must be handed over to the supplier as proof of payment and booking at the prearranged date.

The booking form depicts the price of the selected services, and exactly that amount will be debited to the buyers (clients) account when the order is confirmed.

Should Seatours not be able to render the booked services, he/she will find an alternative of the same or higher standard, or refund fully if preferred. Seatours will also do their utmost to contact the buyer (client) prior to his/her departure to inform him/her of such unforeseeable changes. The buyer (client) agrees, that this may not always be possible. In such cases, Seatours will do his/her utmost to find a satisfactory solution prior to the buyers (clients) arrival.

Complaints

Complaints regarding the services should be brought to the attention of Seatours during the buyers stay and the respective management must be given the opportunity to rectify the situation from the outset. Should such complaints not be rectified by Seatours, the buyer should contact The Icelandic Tourist Board (info@icetourist.is) immediately..

General terms

Seatours Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. These terms and conditions are subject to Icelandic law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland.

All product prices are published subject to printing errors and we reserve the right to cancel trading if incorrect prices are stated. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. All prices for tours with the sightseeing boat Særún are stated with value added tax. No tax is added to trips with Baldur as in Iceland transportation is exempt from taxation.
